Kilgore has come a long way after recovering from the fire of October 24, 2007. Here is a timeline of our progress: Initially, everything was a total loss and quite devastating for everyone. The Kilgore employees, Tom Felter, Kevin Fitzsimmons and Dan Bosse gathered the day after the fire at the Holiday Inn Express. Moving forward was the only option. While searching for a new facility, we were separated in two locations and communication between us was poor at best. We found a location on 3100 Industrial Blvd. that was useful for the time being. We constructed temporary offices in the west end of the main shop building. On February 15th we moved in. This finally enabled us to get all our employees in one location again. We were forced to build a new shop from scratch. Soon after, we went to work struggling to get all the pieces in place. We would like to send out a special thanks to Evan Sparks, Kevin Fitzsimmons, Tom Felter and Larry Guillot for all the hard work they spent helping Kilgore to rebuild. We still have a long way to go before completion. The final phases of planning and construction for the new office building and warehouse will begin soon. We are excited to reveal what the new CCLLC Kilgore facility will look like after completion. I want to say thanks to all of CCLLC for the support we have been given during this rebuild period. I know we have created extra burdens on all the branches. However, many stepped up and answered our calls for help. It just shows what a great team Carter Chambers really is!!!
