Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 12/13/06 - Carter Chambers, LLC is very pleased to announce the acquisition of Industrial Filter Service and Supply (IFSS), located in Prairieville, Louisiana. In addition, IFSS and its 9 employees will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Carter Chambers, LLC with integration possibly in the future. IFSS currently has sales in excess of 5 million dollars adding 600 clients to our existing 3400-client base.

CARTER CHAMBERS, LLC OPENS FULL VALVE SALES & REPAIR CENTER IN MOBILE

September 28, 2004, Saraland, Alabama:  Carter Chambers, LLC (CCLLC) is pleased to announce the purchase acquisition of Parkway Valve today.  Parkway Valve, a privately owned company, was founded in 1997 with the goal of providing high quality valve repair and sales. The company is a complementary fit to CCLLC and has experience in field service repair, shop repair, in-line and on-site machining and testing and CNC machine works.  

This service center will be the sixth Green Tag Center for CCLLC, complete with ASME Section I and VIII new valve sales and repair capabilities with ASME and National Board Certifications.  A Green Tag Center (GTC) is an authorized assembly and repair center by Dresser Flow Solutions, the manufacturer of Consolidated safety/safety relief and pilot valves. Official GTC?s have technicians that are factory trained, certified and annually audited.  CCLLC has exclusive access to proprietary critical dimensions and latest technological developments from Dresser.  Dresser offers customized valve management software, ValvKeepII is offered through CCLLC, which can be accessed via the Internet.  CCLLC also has capabilities to electronically test valves in-line along with a host of engineering services, including relief system analysis.  Therefore, this service center is a one-stop shop, capable to set and test all new and repair safety and safety relief valves, line and block valves, control valves and automation.

Including this new acquisition, CCLLC now owns six valve repair service centers: Luling, Lake Charles and Monroe, Louisiana, and Beaumont and Kilgore, Texas. The exclusive GTC territory covers the Florida panhandle, Alabama (from Mobile to Montgomery), Eastern Mississippi, and Western Tennessee.  In the near future, Parkway Valve and Carter Chambers? Mobile facilities will consolidate and become one distribution and service facility.

Carter Chambers, LLC Acquires Filter Tech, Incorporated

Baton Rouge, Louisiana: July 28, 2004:  As part of a continuing strategy to succeed in the industrial filtration products and services market, Carter Chambers, LLC announces the acquisition of Baton Rouge company, Filter Tech, Inc.  Since 1987, Filter Tech Inc has specialized in liquid, air, and gas filtration.  Filter Tech, Inc. has acted as representative and a stocking distributor for a number of manufacturers.  Additionally, a significant part of the business includes in-house design and fabrication of systems, equipment rentals as well as in-plant services.

With the purchase of Filter Tech, Inc., two seasoned salespeople will join Carter Chambers, LLC: James Butler and Jay Baronne.  James and Jay, collectively have over fifty years experience in the filtration business. These two gentlemen will support Charles Breedlove in the sales and marketing of Filtration Products.  This powerhouse Filtration Team will be available to assist Customer Service Representatives and Account Managers with technical support as well as with the quotation process.  James and Jay will office out of the corporate office in Baton Rouge within the next month.

Carter Chambers, LLC Receives National and Local Certification as a Women-Owned Business

Carter Chambers, LLC has passed the certification process with the Women?s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and its certifying local affiliate, Women?s Business Council of Louisiana (WBCLA).  The Women's Business Council is an organization for women business owners interested in promoting, developing and maintaining business relationships with other women business owners, major corporations and governmental agencies.  This certification promotes the activities directed at the development, establishment, expansion and encouragement of business owned by women.  Nationally recognized, this certification will assist clients to maximize the growth of the economy with regard to small, private, women-owned businesses.
