Atomac
(Flowserve)

Atomac fully-lined ball valves, check valves, sight glasses, and strainers are ideal for the most severe chemical process environments. These fully-lined products complement Durco’s full-lined Plug Valve (T-Line) and fully-lined Butterfly Valve (BTV) products.

Fully-lined Ball Valves

Atomac AKH2

Flowserve’s Atomac AKH2 ball valve sets high safety standards and provides long-term protection against external leakage to the atmosphere with the PTFE chevron packing rings in the deep stuffing box. The two-piece body has a substantial connection flange for added strength and long-term protection against external leakage. The AKH2 ball valve also has minimum cavity space to minimize the retention of line media within the body cavity, reducing product contamination problems.

Atomac AKH3

The AKH3 has low torque, which means easy manual operation and low actuation costs. In addition, long-term protection against external leakage to the atmosphere is provided by the PTFE chevron packing rings in the deep stuffing box. The AKH3 ball valves are also designed for very close tolerances, minimizing body cavity space, thereby reducing potential product contamination problems.

Atomac AKH5

All interior body surfaces and the ball of the Atomac AKH5 are made of solid Mg-PSZ ceramic. The valve also comes with a choice of stem materials, including 316 stainless steel, Hastelloy C-276 or Mg-PSZ ceramic. The valve achieves shutoff to ANSI/FCI 70-2, Class IV criteria, and PTFE chevron or graphite packing rings in the deep stuffing box protect against external leakage to the atmosphere. Atomac’s advanced ceramic technology offers the ideal solution for many difficult applications in which wear, abrasion, impact, corrosion, and high temperature cause conventional materials to fail.
